Kapa Haka Festival

As we Tap to te/the kapa haka on wenerei/wednesday haere/wakedon te/thepapaahi/stage I felt whakakake/nervrness, go up my Puroro/spine. Our first waiata/song is Tu mai ra I was in te/the 5th row kei muri/behind Nalu. We mahia/ parcties for this,it katahi/took ages to tino noa/perfekt reira/it for only for 15 meneti/minutes on papaahi/stage. Our tuarua/second waiata/song is harae mai a paoa me nga/and then Ka pioioi then puri anei me nga/and when we did te/the haka. My nipples turned whero/red me nga/and my huha/thighs me nga/and my nagkau/pippes did too so nui/much.In te/the haka I saw my mama/mumme nga/and she auakarongo/smiled at me me nga/and I auakarongo/smiled back at her. After the/te haka reira/it was Wainui e next reira/It is E honore. Then we Hei whakamutuanga/finally we went back to kura/school TE/THE END!!!!!!!!

 on the way there AJ took us in the car with Jackson, Jaxon, Louie and me. In my snorkeling group was Jaxon and Milo, Cash and me and our adult was koka Rozie. Stepping on the sharp rocks because we could put on or flippers because we might trip over on the rocks and land face first. We jumped in the warm water them we saw nothing at the start. We finley we saw a fish. Flynn was at a rock we swam over to the rock. The under rock and saw crayfish scuttling around under the rock Jaxon shouted there is a moray eel under the rock. I dived down to look a just as I got there I mist it and kina I spoed a octopus in the seaweed I shouted out everyone's names and they swam over to me. But cash could see it because it was in the seaweed. then we finally went back it was fun 

Te Poho o Rawiri marae 2019

On  thursday morning we went on a trip to te poho o rawiri marae we had to be there at 8:45am my mum dropped me off at the marae we had free time till everyone was here. Then we got in to our groups that we were in we got into some action first were on some thing with the museum it was fun next we were going up the hill I did not want to go up  kaiti hill and it took 2  rotations and I hayt walking it's horrible.     

 This rotation was flax weaving it was very hard to weaving and what we had barely any time to make it.

We learnt all  the pieces of the the marae noho  it was hard to keep track of them. They told us story about the chefs and there And their history from the marae it were long and short stories.


The next day we did the same thing but we did different rotations at morning tea we like apples and biscuits yum. We got free time when the bus came to take our class back to school when we got to school we watch The Deep on the big screen.

Sprinting around the track coming 5th. 1st it was Rory, 2nd was Bramm and 3rd was Nathan, then Momo, then me. My mum shouted, ''Go Harry you can do this!" I felt tied, I want to fall down. 1 loop to go and I will be finished. Falling down the hill round the post.  Panting!  "Everyone yelled and 
said come on Manaia!  THE BEST HOUSE EVER",running past everyone.I can see the finish line I whispered to myself,  "I can do this."  I sprinted through the two posts puffing and lying on the wet green ground. We are last up for our race it went  
yr 6 yr 5 yr 0 yr 1 yr 2 yr 3 yr 4.😀

Sweet & Sour  challenge

List of  ingredients 

1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of flavour, 1/2 teaspoon of citric acid, 1 teaspoon icing sugar, 3 teaspoon, 1 little paper bag. 

 First get 1/2  teaspoon of citric acid and put in your paper bag, then get 1 teaspoon of icing sugar, next add 1/4 of baking soda, last put 1/2 of the flavour in.Then mix all the ingredients together in the little paper bag.  I screamed when I swallowed it. I wanted to spit it out of my mouth because it was so sour and disgusting because I skulled 1 hol packet!!!!!!!😩My tongue burnt so much. But in the end I liked it. I wanted to bring some home.

1.  A house because it is a shelter to sleep in.And it is warmer on cold days
.And keeps you safe from thunder, lightning and Tsunamis. It has improved
human life by keeping people safe. 

2. Fresh water to drink because if you don’t you could Dehydrate.It has
Improved
human life so we don’t Dehydrate. 

3. Food because if you don’t have food you could die or you could starve.
This has improved human life because If we didn't have food we would die.And
in the olden days they had to hant

4. Electricity so when it is dark you can see. And you get electricity so
you can call people if you are in danger.  It has improved human life
because people can see in the dark. 

5. Clothes keeps you warm when it is cold.It improved human life because
if we didn't have clothes we would be cold in winter and too hot in summer.In
the olden day they used animal skin for cloths.

The most important... 

....Is Water: Because you if you don’t have water you could dehydrate or if
you had water from the stream it might have bugs in it and freshwater that
has been filtered has no bugs in it
