Just Dance Performance!!!

Just dance, if you read my other blog post I said how "I like just dance". Well today we are doing I just dance performance in front of our class, it is going to be sooo fun. We are doing it on wednesday or thursday it is tuesday today,There was three songs out these are then Waka Waka, Timber and Hand Clap.

 The teacher said "If you do Waka Waka you need four people, if you do Hand Clap you need three people and if you do Timber you need two people".We are doing Waka Waka because it is my favorite song and dance that we do, so this means we need four people it is me Jaxon, Nalu and Hunter. Our costume is a soccer player because the people we are copying on the screen.

Me and Jaxon are wearing a Messi t-shirt with red and blue squares and Nalu and Hunter are wearing a Messi t-shirt too.

Bring,Bring,Bring goes the bell for the end of morning-tea. Now we get to do Just Dance, YAY!!! I like Just Dance because you have to work with your friends and I like it because there is a soccer one and I love soccer. Here is a picture. Just dance is were you copy the people of the screen. I like the waka waka one because it is soccer.

                                                          This is waka waka song and dance. I do it with Jaxon,Nalu and Hunter and me. Some ones I don't like.                         

Bubbles

Today we are making bubbles I am so excited and happy that we get to make the biggest bubbles in history of the whole school at wainui beach yay!!! We are doing it in our buzz groups, I have Oliver,Kale'a,Te Atawhai and Wolfe and tre but he didn't want to make bubbles. First we had to put the mixture together, koka Jo said "As wallas make big bubbles you have to make a presentation about your recipe, steps how to make it,ingredients in it, photos of you and your thoughts of it. Finally morning tea is over we walk with our bubble mixture of but I can't find my group and then Wolfe came over and said "Kale'a and Te Atawhai are redoing our wand. Then they came over with the wand it was big. We started making bubble we made giant bubbles bigger than people it was so fun.

          To create your bubble solution, first mix 2 cups of dish soap, 2 tablespoons of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 4 tablespoons of corn syrup in a large bowl. Pour half a gallon of distilled water, and stir. BUBBLE TIME!!!! Now get bubbling.

The Lighthouse Walk

The Lighthouse Walk

Crash,crash,crash as the waves hit against the yellow smooth sand. We were walking to a lighthouse
at the end of the beach, we had to have a buddy so I chose Hunter. I am so excited because there are
rock pools, cool rocks, crystals and we get to walk over rocks. I am most excited about the cool rocks
and crystals. When we started walking me and Hunter didn't have the idea of collecting crystals,so it was
boring.When we got to the rock pools me and Hunter finally had the idea of collecting crystals so we
started. 

But there was one problem as we were getting closer to the big non crystal grey rocks there were no
crystals so we just had fun jumping from rock to rock. After like 20 minutes we finally saw the lighthouse.
It was big, rusty and with plants growing out of the tops and sides. As we were looking at the lighthouse
Jaxon cawt a crab with his hands it was so big, then after a while he saw an octopus it was under a big
rock. Then he said “Look at the octopus under the rock!” and he tried to grab it but it swam under the
rock and everyone crowded him. After that excitement we had to sing a song, after that we went back
to school.

School from home

School from home yay, I liked school

 from home because a can sleep in really late and I could practice my soccer more than I used to
and spend more time with my family. I liked the goggle meets and the themes for each week and
doing steps for 15-20 minutes and e-ako maths for 25-30 minutes. My favorite was the famous
people week because I could do it on soccer and choose any soccer player I want. I also liked work
at home because I could do my work when I wanted during the day and not do all of it in one day. 

I also missed my friends and to play soccer. I also liked when at school

you only have a lunch box full of food where as at home you have a whole cupboard full of food.
I am looking forward to seeing my friend, playing soccer and most of all trying out for the A grad
soccer with my friends. I can’t wait to go back to school with my friends and play soccer!!!

GET SET GO!!!!!!

At 10:30 room 2/3 hopped in the bus to go to enterprise pool it took about 15 minutes to get there. On the way I sat with Hunter I was on the window side.Nervousness got in my body as we hop out of the bus at enterprise pool. As we walked into the pool we had to get into our togs in the changing room. I didn't bring board shorts because last year I brang board shorts and they were falling down so I brang speedos. As we sat down on the big seats. we put our bags on this ledge. First up was the year 4 girls doing one length free style then year 4 boys doing one length freeStyle.

Then it was finally year 5 girls then was koka ngaire called out our names I faced Jaxon,Noa,Abbay and Neko. Yesterday on the people who I faced it was Cory and Rori but they must of changed who I was faced. I am so happy that they changed it because they are the the fastest. My heart pound as I dived of the box we had to do 2 lengths I swam my hardest. Then tumble turning at the end I was coming first. I was trying to stay in that spot and I won the race I bet ever one buy far so I moved into the final. As I walked back happy and proud and sat down and about 2 minutes later then a had to go do breastroke.


Breastroke I forgot who I faced apart from Oska and Cory as I dive of the box I was nevis because I am slow at breaststroke I went as fast as I could and I came 2nd and tied with oska and Cory came 1st I was still happy though because I was still in the final. Then it was backstroke.It was backstroke time I faced Jaxon,Cory,Reef and me this time we started in the pool we hailed on the bar then we push of. It was hard to not get water on your face we had to do one length. I came 2nd agin finley in was the final.

Final time was up I was in the final for evring freestyle was up first I was so nevis I was facing Rori,Cory,Oska,nathan,me and Jaxon. We dived in I swam my hard out by the second lap I was so tired and slowed down and Oska bet me and I came 5th place. Now it was the final for backstroke I faced Rori,Cory,Nathan,Troy,nalu and me we jumped in the pool and haled on to the bar and let go and went as fast as we could I came 4th. Breaststroke time we dive in the pool then we went so fast  I tied with Oska.

First week back at school!

This is the first week back at school has packed with fun things like quick writes the first quick writes. We got was cheese Vs chocolate which is better. I had no clue what one to do but I chose chocolate because there is more flavours then cheese and you can eat it any day.


 Buzz groups it was hard to find my buzz group because I did not know what to do so it took ages to find them but I found them. We did some fun games with balloons they were put the balloon between your legs and if you drop the ball you have to restart. In my buzz group was Wolf, Olver, Tray, Kale'a, Te Atawhai and me.

In our buzz groups we played a game called tension it is where you have one minute to talk about a question that the teacher has on a card and the teacher said ice cream flavors and if you guess the thing on the card you get a point.
