He retired in 1977 after scoring 1281 goals and playing 1363 games.The world began to watch more of Pele’s games and pay attention when a 17-year-old Pele scored 6 goals in 1958 World Cup, and leading the Brazil National Team to victory. Brazil won its first World Cup that year. |
